CM Bihar and Union Power Minister do ‘Lokarpan’ of power units at NTPC Barauni & Barh
Bihar/New Delhi, November 28, 2021: Shri Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar in presence of Shri R.K Singh Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy, today dedicated Stage -II 500MW (2x250 MW) of NTPC Barauni Thermal Power Station and Unit #1 (660 MW) of NTPC Barh Super Thermal Power project at the ‘Lokarpan’ ceremony of the power stations.
At the Lokarpan ceremony of NTPC Barh Power Project, Shri Rajiv Ranjan, M.P (Lok Sabha), Munger, Shri Neeraj Kumar, Member of Legislative Council, Bihar and Shri Gyanendra Kumar Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Barh graced the occasion with their presence.
At Barauni Power project Shri Ram Ratan Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Teghra, Bihar, Shri Raj Kumar Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Matihani, Bihar and other senior leaders graced the occasion with their august presence.
The senior officials of Bihar Government, officials from Government of India and other eminent personalities from Bihar were also present during the both the ceremonies.
Shri Alok Kumar, Secretary (Power), GOI, Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC, Shri Dillip Kumar Patel, Director (HR), NTPC, Shri Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya, Director (Projects) and senior officials of NTPC were present.
