Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Unveils 2023 CB300R: Experience the Thrill of Neo Sports Roadster


New Delhi, 16 October 2023: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the eagerly awaited 2023 CB300R, setting a new benchmark in the world of Neo Sports Café Roadsters. Engineered to blend exhilarating performance with effortless versatility, the CB300R promises an unparalleled riding experience. Enthusiasts can now secure their own 2023 Honda CB300R by booking at their nearest BigWing dealerships. The starting price for this dynamic machine is an attractive Rs. 2,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Styling and Equipment: Taking cues from the iconic retro-themed CB1000R litre-class roadster, the 2023 CB300R boasts Honda’s contemporary take on the timeless roadster design. Its design highlights include a robust fuel tank and an upswept exhaust, inspired by neo sports cafe aesthetics. Adding to its appeal is an all-LED lighting system comprising a round LED headlamp, LED winkers, and LED tail lamp.


Weighing just 146kg, the CB300R stands as the lightest motorcycle in its category, ensuring agile handling. It features 41mm USD front forks and an adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear, perfect for Indian roads. Braking efficiency is guaranteed by a 296mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard. The motorcycle also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, emergency stop signal, and hazard light switch, enhancing safety features.


Engine and Performance: Underneath its sleek exterior, the CB300R houses a robust 286.01cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder BSVI OBD2A compliant PGM-FI engine, now even more eco-friendly. Generating 22.9 kW power and 27.5 Nm of torque, this engine ensures a thrilling ride. The motorcycle is paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox and features an assist slipper clutch, enhancing gearshifts and managing rear wheel lock-up during aggressive downshifts, prioritizing rider safety.
