  • Infosys: The IT major's stock also rose on Wednesday after the company reported strong quarterly results. Infosys's net profit for the March quarter grew 22.9% year-on-year to ₹6,409 crore.

The Indian stock market is expected to continue its positive momentum in the near term, supported by strong corporate earnings and positive global cues. However, investors should keep an eye on the rising inflation and interest rates, which could pose some headwinds to the market.
