Subarnarekha Port's Multi-Specialist Health Camp Brings Vital Care to Baliapal Community
Bhubaneswar/Baliapal: Subarnarekha Port Private Limited (SPPL) continues to exemplify its unwavering commitment to community well-being by hosting a Multi-Specialist Health Camp on August 31st, 2023. This transformative event unfolded at the Deula Cyclone Shelter in Baliapal, targeting one of the region's most tribal family-centric Gram Panchayats within the port's operational area. The initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Tata Steel Foundation (TSF).
A dedicated team of medical specialists specializing in Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology diagnosed and provided treatment to approximately 600 patients from six different villages in the vicinity. The primary objective of this health camp was to address the healthcare needs of the local community, with a particular focus on those residing in tribal areas.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Saroj Kumar Pila, Sarpanch of Deula, and Diptili Das, Panchayat Samiti (PS) Member of Deula, along with Sushant Kumar Mishra, Executive Director of SPPL. Both the Sarpanch and PS Member expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the organization of the health camp, acknowledging its profound impact on the tribal community's lives within the Gram Panchayat. They also extended their gratitude to SPPL for its unwavering dedication to the community's welfare and requested the continuation of such development activities and programs to further advance the Gram Panchayat's progress.
