TPSODL celebrates 51st National Safety Week

Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL), the joint venture between Tata Power and Odisha Government for power distribution in Southern Odisha, today embarked on the celebration of National Safety Week that will last for one week from 4th March to 11th March 2022. The company also celebrated Lineman Day today as a mark of honor for the Lineman who ensure uninterrupted power supply to the consumers.

The National Safety Week campaign is launched to a drive safety culture amongst all stakeholders. The theme adopted for the campaign is Nurture Young Minds, to develop Safety Culture as the company plans to involve new graduates, young technocrats, and innovative minds to foster a safe work culture. During the week, the company has planned a series of events such as quiz competition, poster designing, slogan writing competitions etc. The company launched Surakhsa Sachetanata Rath in the presence of the CEO, whose main objective will be to drive awareness about the integration of safety and health in work culture and lifestyle.

On this occasion, Mr Arvind Singh, Chief Executive Officer, TP Southern Odisha Distribution Ltd, said: “We are extremely happy to embark on the 51st National safety week at TPSODL.
