Berhampur, January: In a moment of pride for Berhampur and a result of TPSODL's efforts to nurture and support young talent, Anushka Sahoo, a Class VII student from DAV Berhampur, has emerged as the winner of 1st Prize in the Science Exhibition Competition at the National Urja Mela 2024, hosted at Cenpeid, Tata Power-DDL Learning Centre, Delhi.

Her innovative project, "Aero Piezo Fusion," impressed the judges and audience with its creative ideas for energy generation and environmental care. Under the expert guidance of her mentor, Ms. Trupti Rani Panigrahy, Anushka presented a model that seamlessly blended creativity and science.

Her project introduced innovative concepts aimed at harnessing renewable energy and reducing environmental pollution. The model brings together creative ideas like a piezoelectric generator, a wind turbine, shoes that generate electricity, and a device that turns pollution into ink. These solutions aim to generate energy and help the environment.

Anushka Sahoo said, "My innovation is designed to help conserve energy and protect the environment, which is becoming increasingly important. I am grateful to TPSODL for providing me with the opportunity and support to bring my ideas to life, and for inspiring young minds like mine to think about sustainable solutions for the future."
